Tassajara Ranch is located in the beautiful rolling foothills of Mount Diablo at Camino Tassajara and Tassajara Ranch Drive in eastern Danville. It is adjacent to the Blackhawk Plaza shopping center and Blackhawk Auto Museum.

The community consists of three hundred and fifty detached, single-family homes of varying architectural styles and is bordered by hundreds of acres of permanent open space filled with a variety of wildlife. The Alamo Creek runs through the center of the community providing protected wetlands and additional open space.

The Tassajara Ranch Association maintains several landscaped parks within the community as well as a large swimming pool complex that includes a cabana/multi-use room. The Association is governed by a board of directors elected by the members and is represented by professional, full time management services.
